  • Leatherstocking

What a self-serving piece of drivel. No focus on the effects on industry (lay-offs, regulatory/permit delays et al) and the effect on readiness for example. All the “effects” are on the government itself. It’s time that Congress be required to stay in session without pay if the budget is not in place by 01 Oct of the Fiscal Year. No more continuing resolutions and kicking the can down the street.
