The following is the Nov. 8, 2013 Judge Advocate General investigation into the Sept. 16, 2013 shooting at the Washington Navy Yard, released on March 18, 2014.

At 0744 on the morning of September 16, 2013, Aaron Alexis, an employee of The Experts, Inc., drove through the 6th Street Gate onto the Washington Navy Yard (WNY). The FBI’s search for a suspected second shooter during the Sept. 16 lockdown at the Washington, D.C. The Navy will not demolish the site of the Sept. 16 Washington, D.C. Navy Yard shooting, Navy officials told USNI News on Thursday.
